Vani Prakshan Hosts Vani Vishwas Utsav In Honour Of Dr. Kumar Vishwas’s 51st Birth Anniversary

Vani Prakashan, hosted and celebrated, Vani Vishwas Utsav, in the honour of the 51st birth anniversary of veteran poet and academician, Dr Kumar Vishwas. The evening was hosted by Arun Maheshwari, Publisher and Managing Director at Vani Prakashan at Taj Man Singh Hotel in New Delhi.

Dr. Kumar Vishwas is an Indian Hindi poet, politician, and a lecturer. A member of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and a former member of its National Executive, he has done poetry recitals across India and across USA, Dubai, Oman, Singapore and Japan. His poetry demonstrates his love for Hindi, Urdu and Sanskrit literature. Some of his notable works include, Ek Pagli Ladki Ke Bin (1996), Koi Deewana Kehta Hai (2007) and Phir Meri Yaad (2017).  

On the occasion, Arun Maheshwari, said, “It is indeed a prestigious association with Dr Vishwas and an important occasion for us. Our vision of making the world literature available in Hindi language has been successful and in recent times we have also extended our endeavors to Urdu Shayari. We admire Dr Vishwas’s passion for Hindi and Urdu literature and look forward to new collaborations and reach out to the popular reading culture of Hindi and Urdu gentry.

Dr. Vishwas began his journey as a lecturer after receiving PhD on the folk songs of India and earned his reputation as a poet in the early 2000 with his multi-million copies bestseller book ‘Koi Deewana Kehta Hai’. He later joined journalism and engaged with political activism. He is now producing path-breaking shows for television and OTT platforms dedicated to the rich poetry and multi-lingual diversity of India and continues to be a sensation for the youth on social media.  Late Dr. Dharmveer Bharti, who has been revered as a prolific Hindi editor, writer and storyteller for multiple generations, has called Dr. Vishwas the poet of his generation. His words stand true as we witness   Dr.Vishwas becoming the first-ever Hindi poet to make it to ‘50 under 50’ celebrity list of the India Today Group.  Dr. Kumar Vishwas addressed the youth of the country on his birthday and said, “I thank my readers who are with me through Vani Prakashan Group for their long-lasting relationship with my poetry. It is through your faith in me that I derive my inspiration to think, write and create better.  I will remain a step away from being completely satisfied for mild dissatisfaction is the force that drives us all towards the future.”
The evening saw a gathering of eminent personalities like Sunanda Sharma, Classical Singer, Student of Appa ji, Monica Halan consulting editor of mint, Vidya Shah singer, Harivansh ji, Rita Joshi bahuguna,  Arun Maheshwari, Aditya Maheshwari Goyal and various Politicians, Media professionals, Bureaucrats, Artists, Poets, Editors and Authors attend the celebration with enthusiasm and The program was moderated by renowned anchor Dipti Dubey.
